Florence Palmer

Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott and Lucy Maud Montgomery, Elizabeth Gaskell and others like. All influenced Florence early in her life, once she read the works of these women of whom she got greatly inspired. She was too young when she firstly opened a book by one of these authors, too young to really understand the subject discussed in the books and the underlying meaning of womanhood. No, she saw the romances and dreamed herself away to other times and to others lives. Reading was her escape and still is to this day. Works like these shaped her to who she is and gave her path to walk on in, now here, in her early adulthood. For not only did she read, she wrote as well. Short stories, novels and endless books about endless subjects, but always about romance. Always about women.

Florence mayors in literature with the purpose of become a writer herself. Already has she finished countless books, but never ones she felt good enough to try and get published. She is her own harshest critic. Not just by her writing, but by everything she does. Though, she considers herself ordinary, coming from an ordinary family with an ordinary background, Florence has never found herself unhappy.
She is lively, spirited and enjoying her youth and studying at the university, with all that comes with it. parties, club gatherings and part times jobs. On the side of her studies, she interns at a publishing company, but the work mostly consist of bringing everybody coffee. Also she draws or paints, landscapes, flowers and fauna and sometimes animals, but never people. Never faces.
She keeps busy after uni is done for the day, either by her internship where she often works till it is late in the evening or with visiting the many uni-bars around town. Also, she keeps a small dog walking business going and in particular, she runs with a husky that belongs to a couple that live in the same building as her.
